Tennis Comp.

Yesterday, Saturday April 25,2009, I went to a tennis competition! I did prett well, and my team got first place medals. I have been playing tennis for about one year now, and I am really enjoying it. Time to time, my dad and I go to the park at play at the tennis courts. Anyone else in our family that plays tennis?

Just a Little More!

Brad and I are so close to going toward the 7th and 8th grade. I have about 2 - 3 more months until I am finally out of Elementary School. I am really exited to go into Jr. High School. Just a few more years of school for us! (I am so glad)! So, that is all I wanted to say.

Jennifer moved into her home yesterday. we are getting close to finishing the family room then we will send pictures. Corey is doing trim work and the carpet is going in this week. I am putting in the garden this week it is getting that time. Work is off and running Jennifer is working with me on Saturday's she did a great job yesterday. Have a great week Joan

Hey everyone!! it's me, Laurin Wilson and i'm on viv's account cause i'm at her house and don't have a gmail account yet, but I wanted to tell everyone hi!!! I love you all!!! :) What an amazing way to leep in touch!! So Vanessa and I have been in utah for about a week now, and are spending our spring break here visiting family and friends. Vanessa and I have made quilts with aunt viv and gone shopping. We spent the weekend with Curt, Alex, Rebecca, Sarah, Lizzy, Michael, Daniel and Jordan. It was amazing to see how much everyone has grown up, and to stay up all hours of the night enjoying each other's company and just talk and realize how much alike we all are!! I know I have had a wonderful time here. We are hoping to go and visit grandma and grandpa's graves here in Utah together. We just wish everyone can be here with us, but hopefully we can all get together in 2010!!!!
As for my life right now...I am in the middle of making some pretty big decisions from High School graduation to which college to attend I'm in the process of weighing pros and cons and hope to make the right decision. :) Brittney and I graduate from High School on June fourth and can't wait to move on to the next part of our lives! I am grateful for the support of our loving extended family, so thanks everyone!! Love ya!

Family Reunion 2010

Hello everyone,

When Howard was here in February the ball began rolling for a family reunion for the summer of 2010. I believe David is in charge of finding a place (in Oregon this first time) and someone else, Joan maybe??? is supposed to come up with the date. The Whelchel family has been doing an every other year reunion for the past 12 years and it has been a great success! We have been to Avon, Colorado three times, Big Bear, CA twice, Pismo Beach, CA once, and Cannon Beach, OR once. This summer we are off to Nauvoo for a week. We are really excited to experience that period of church history. We hope the Haralson Family Reunion will happen and that it will come to be a wonderful tradition to keep cousins and extended family in touch through the years.

We enjoyed our brief visit with Sarah Scott last weekend. She and 5 friends stayed with us overnight so they could attend a friend's wedding reception here in Palmdale. We were very impressed with all the young ladies and hope Taryn and Brad will both have the same type of quality friends as they go through their teenage years.
